Principal's Welcome

Welcome to St. Dominic Savio Catholic High School!

Thank you for taking the time to learn more about our extraordinary school community. At St. Dominic Savio Catholic High School, our mission is clear: to Form Servant Leaders in the Image of Christ. Every aspect of our school—from our classrooms and campus ministry to our athletic fields, fine arts programs, and service opportunities—is intentionally designed to help our students grow in faith, wisdom, character, and leadership.

It is both a privilege and a humbling calling to serve as principal of this remarkable community. I recognize that Catholic education is more than academic excellence; it is the sacred work of forming young men and women who know Christ, love Christ, and reflect His love through lives of service to others.

We believe that you, the parents, are the primary educators of your children, and are honored to partner with families in the intellectual, spiritual, and moral formation of each student. Each student who enters our door is welcomed with dignity, valued as a child of God, and challenged to discover and develop the unique gifts God has entrusted to them.

Inspired by our patron, young St. Dominic Savio, your student is encouraged to pursue holiness in the ordinary moments of daily life. Whether they are studying in the classroom, praying in our chapel, competing in athletics, performing on stage, serving those in need, or building lasting friendships, our students strive to "do everything, even the smallest things, for the greater glory of God." Through these experiences, they learn that authentic leadership begins with humility, compassion, integrity, and a commitment to serving others before themselves.

Our vibrant Catholic identity is at the heart of everything we do. Through daily prayer, the celebration of the sacraments, meaningful service opportunities, a rigorous college-preparatory curriculum, and a strong sense of community fostered through our House System and Family structure, students are prepared not only for success in college and their careers but also for lives of faithful discipleship and servant leadership.

We would be honored to welcome you to the Savio family and to partner with you in forming the next generation of servant leaders in the image of Christ.

In Christ,
Evan Psencik
