Coach Bryan Edwards
Head Coach
Bryan Edwards grew up in Austin, Texas, and graduated from Bowie High School in 1997. Bryan had a great high school career where he achieved many awards such as MVPs and ALL District honors.
He signed a letter of intent to attend the University of Texas after high school. Before he could attend, however, Bryan was drafted by the Tampa Bay Devil Rays as an outfielder, but to keep his draft options open he attended Northeast Jr. College.
Bryan was blessed to pitch professionally for eight years with the Cincinnati Reds, San Diego Padres, and New York Mets where he played Double A the majority of his career. He has served as the Savio Baseball Head Coach for the last 10 years and has owned and operated THZ Baseball since 2007.
