The Art for Water Diocesan Art Show is hopefully on your radar! It will be held from 11:00 a.m.-2:00 p.m., Saturday, May 6 at St. Dominic Savio Catholic High School. Art will be available for purchase!

Robots Donated to Savio for STEM Advancement
Four TEMI robots have been donated to St. Dominic Savio Catholic High School by Aristocrat Technologies, Austin, and Mr. and Mrs. Brett Butler. Joanie Butler was this year's Saints and Scholars recipient from the Diocese of Austin, and her husband Brett works for Aristocrat Technologies in Austin. The Aristocrat research and development teams were using robots for industry advancements and when the project concluded, the couple found a way to introduce the robots to the Savio STEM department. Imago Christi Teaches Service to Others
The entire school community, students, faculty, and staff took part in the annual day of service, Imago Christi, held on March 7. These 12 locations in the surrounding area had teams visit for a day of working, playing, and overall service in support of others. Organized by Christian Outreach, and Mrs. Alanna Heyl, the St. Dominic Savio community worked cleaning, organizing, gardening, and in the case of Brookdale Senior Living, exercising with residents.
Service Locations: St. Francis - Eagle's Wings, St. Thomas Aquinas - St. Ignatius Food Pantry, St. Catherine of Siena - Hope House, St. Teresa of Calcutta - Texas Baptist Children's Home, St. Therese of Lisieux - Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, St. Maximilian Kolbe - Brookdale Senior Living, St. Padre Pio - Horse Link, St. Patrick - Dominican Sisters' Priory, JPII - St. Louis Farm & Food Pantry, St. Philomena - Candlelight Ranch, St. Anthony - Annunciation Maternity Home, and St. Nicholas - Down Home Ranch.
