NHS Makes Homeless Sandwiches

December 11, 2019
By Cristina Mares, Director of Communications

On Monday, December 9th, the National Honor Society worked hard to make over 300 sandwiches during their lunch to distribute to the homeless. The NHS students have noticed the increase in the number of homeless around town and wanted to help with an immediate need, providing food. They will each keep the food in their cars and will offer a sandwich and a kind greeting to anyone that may be in need of food. Thank you to Mrs. Celeste Robbins for encouraging this generous effort!
