August 02, 2015
By Admin

On Wed. July 29th, Sr. Maria Catherine, who taught English at Savio 2012-13, made her Perpetual Vows as a Dominican Sisters of Mary, Mother of the Eucharist.  The next day, the postulants of the Dominican Sisters received the habit and their religious names, so we’d like to introduce our Savio alumnae, Sister Maria Reginald Aanstoos and Sr. Monica Marie Lynk, pictured here with Sr. Maria Catherine.  Sr. Maria Reginald is named for Blessed Reginald, OP, an early Dominican, and Sr. Monica Marie is named for St. Monica, the mother of St. Augustine.

Other Savio Sisters gathered with these Sisters during the festivities: Sr. Maria Guadalupe, Sr. John Michael, Sr. Maria Reginald, Sr. Maria Catherine, Sr. Monica Marie, Sr. Dominica, and Sr. Mary Elizabeth.

The Sisters are looking forward to the entrance of Caroline Smith to the postulancy on August 28th.
