Students Place at History Fair

The students in my Humanities Research Class participated in the Central Texas Regional History Fair this past Saturday at St. Edward's University.  They placed as follows:
Woosung Choi - 1st place - Individual Website for his project "From Jerusalem to Juche:  Religion, Revolution and the Remaking of Identity in North Korea.
Neta Raichman - 1st place Individual Exhibit for her project “The AMBER Alert System:  How Public Alerts Revolutionized Modern Detective Work”
Norah Harkins - 2nd place Individual Exhibit for her project “The Birth of Modern Protest”
Alice Zhong - 3rd place for her paper “A Reform in American Education:  How Lillian Wald and School Nurses Brought Accessible Healthcare into the School System.”
Charlotte Terry - 3rd place Individual Performance for her project “The Fight for Barton Springs:  A Family Scrapbook of Austin's Environmental Revolution.”
Carter Ofobike - 3rd place Individual Documentary for his project "Humanist Photography:  Fighting Back Through Film"

The first and second place students will move on to the state competition at the University of Texas in April, and the third place will be alternates.  Please congratulate these students on their hard work and wish them luck at state.
