Campus News

St. Dominic Savio Catholic High School recently welcomed representatives from 40 Catholic colleges and universities as part of the 2026 Catholic Colleges Texas Tour, organized by the National Catholic College Admission Association (National CCAA). The event provided students with an opportunity to explore Catholic higher education, learn about academic programs and campus life, and connect directly with admissions representatives from institutions across the country. Participating universities included Villanova University, Gonzaga University, Santa Clara University, Creighton University, Loyola University Chicago, and many others.

This event followed Savio's TACRAO College Fair in September, giving students multiple opportunities this fall to connect with college representatives and explore a diverse range of higher education options. Together, these events reflect Savio's ongoing commitment to college readiness and helping students make informed decisions about their futures.

A special thank you to the visiting college representatives and Savio's Director of College Counseling, Laura Docherty, for coordinating this valuable opportunity for our students.
