A Miracle Season for Football

November 12, 2019
By Cristina Mares, Director of Communications

Savio Football made school history playing in the TAPPS Division V Championships on November 9. They lost 38-28 against the Village School Vikings in Houston. The team worked hard and won every other game this season!

After the 2018 season, and losing all 4 games, the team faced the possibility that there may not be Eagle Football this school year. The coaches, athletic directors, and the football team worked together and created what several people have acclaimed as a “miracle season.” We congratulate the football team on making school history this school year! Read an article in October about the football team making school history.
