Back to School Night Highlights
Last evening, during our Back to School Night, Savio parents had the opportunity to meet their students’ teachers. The evening began in the gym, where parents gathered to hear a short welcome message from school leadership before moving through their students’ schedules. Parents were able to hear from each teacher about the classes they teach, gaining a more insightful understanding of teacher expectations along with a brief course overview. A special thank you goes to the Savio Parent Association (SPA) for setting up a table to greet parents and share information about their upcoming events for the school year.
Eucharistic Procession awakens hearts at Savio
A Eucharistic Procession, led by Father Lijo, Parochial Vicar at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church was held on Friday, August 22. Father brought Jesus to every classroom and office for a short prayer and blessing, followed by Adoration in the gym with the entire school. Thank you, Father, for all that you do for St. Dominic Savio Catholic High School.
