"Since the beginning of St. Dominic Savio, our school has been blessed by the presence of the Dominican Sisters of Mary, Mother of the Eucharist. From personal experience, the Sisters have been my best teachers. Not only are they great teachers, but they are always full of joy, want us to succeed, and encourage us to want to succeed. They help us whenever we need something, whether it relates to the class or our spiritual life. The Sisters care about us in our emotional, spiritual, physical, and educational life. If I ever have something that is bothering me, I know that I can go to one of the Sisters and ask them for counsel."
-Callen Hajda (Class of 2016)
"Having sisters on campus is phenomenal! They are always willing to help you and answer your questions whether they are about schoolwork or our Catholic faith. With the sisters here at Savio, you know that there is always someone that you can go to with prayer intentions and to ask for prayers. Having the sisters here at Savio is a reminder of our Catholic identity."
-Sarah Buchanan (Class of 2016)
"The presence of the sisters at school offers an even more intimate presence of Christ at Savio. Their whole lives are examples of servant leadership - what the school calls all of the students to be. The sisters aren't only just holy presences at the school, but also models of that holiness and purity. Just like any other teacher, they are available for help, one-on-one instruction, and they even participate in after school activities. They always attend the music concerts, football games, and other student events. The sisters offer a unique learning style centered on the teachings of the Church and the academic lessons in class."
