A study by the US Conference of Catholic Bishops revealed that 98 percent of young adult Catholics in their 20s and 30s consider themselves “spiritual, but not religious.” Only 8% participate in a Catholic parish community. What will happen to your son or daughter? Will they continue to embrace their Catholic faith when they question its relevance in their lives?
Saint William Catholic Church cordially invites you and your teens to an exciting evening with best-selling Catholic author and motivational speaker, Matthew Kelly, as he takes on the hard issues facing Catholics and challenges us to rediscover the relevance of Catholicism to our culture today.
Come be inspired and energized on Sunday, Jan 29 @ 7:00pm at St. William Catholic Church. For more information and to purchase tickets, click here.

Thank you for responding to the parent/guardian satisfaction survey. Approximately 45 percent of St. Dominic Savio families responded to the survey and the results are unquestionably positive. There are many successes to celebrate as well as some helpful recommendations for the school to consider. In both instances, the information gleaned from the survey will help St. Dominic Savio continue to develop as a Catholic, college preparatory school in the 21st century.

October is traditionally dedicated to the Rosary because October 7 is the feast of the Holy Rosary. This feast was formally established by Pope St. Pius V to give thanks for the Christian victory at Lepanto on October 7, 1571, which he attributed to the praying of the Rosary.
On Friday, October 7, students were able to pray a complete rosary over the course of the school day: one decade in each of their four class periods and the fifth decade during Eucharistic Adoration, which they had at the end of the day. At left, Mrs. Grady’s class holds a discussion after their decade.
October has more recently been associated with the pro-life movement because of its connection to the Blessed Virgin Mary. A group of students has been praying the rosary before school on Mass days in order to pray for life, especially the success of the 40 Days for Life Prayer Vigil to end abortion.

Mother Assumpta Long, OP, Prioress General of the community, signed the closing documents for a beautiful 60 acre property near Georgetown on September 23rd, 2011.
