Kevin J. Calkins, Principal

Thank you for taking time to visit St. Dominic Savio’s school website.  It is the school’s hope that you find the website user-friendly, and after your visit, you will have a better understanding of all the school has to offer.

St. Dominic Savio Catholic High School is a family-orientated community.  The school will offer your son or daughter a value-oriented school, a rigorous college preparatory curriculum, and an outstanding, caring faculty.  Most importantly, your son or daughter will have the opportunity to develop his or her faith in a safe, Christ-centered environment.

In this inaugural year, students have applied from 43 different schools and 4 states.  In Texas, St. Dominic Savio has attracted students from as far south as St. Ignatius in south Austin to as far north as Holy Trinity Catholic High School in Temple, and as far east as St. Mary’s in Taylor.  Ninety-eight percent of the student applicant pool is Catholic, and 100% is Christian.  Thus far, an equal number of young men and women applied, and I am proud to say that the school’s families reflect the socio-economic and ethnic diversity of the Catholic Church.

The school’s mission is to Form Servant Leaders.  The Board of Directors, Administration, Faculty and Staff all believe that in order to Form Servant Leaders, we need to be servant leaders.  Please let us know how we can serve you!
